Hot Italian Nights - A Taste of Place

Hot Italian Nights is back—and this season we’re taking it region by region. Think Sardinian coastlines, Piedmont orchards, and the alpine valleys of Trentino-Alto Adige—all expressed through wine and food that’s rooted in Italy and grown right here in California, on a warm Lodi summer evening.

Arrive to a refreshing spritz. Roam the patio and graze through cicchetti aka small Italian bites, each paired with a wine. Move inside for a cool, relaxed dinner and dessert, each with their own pairing.

June 27th  —  Sardinia

First Stop: Sardinia – Home of Vermentino and the place that gave our 2021 vintage a Grand Gold Medal and 95 points at the international competition held right there in Cagliari.

Saturday, June 27th, we’re celebrating that wine the way it deserves—with food, friends, and a warm California evening that feels a little bit like the Mediterranean.

July 18th  —  Trentino-Alto Adige

Next stop: Trentino-Alto Adige — where crisp mountain air, alpine herbs, and generations of winemaking meet some of Italy’s most refreshing and food-friendly wines.

Saturday, July 18th, we’re bringing a little taste of Northern Italy to Lodi with an evening built around bright Pinot Grigio, bold Teroldego, and dishes inspired by the region’s balance of freshness, richness, and rustic charm. Think summer evenings in the mountains, spritzes on the patio and comforting flavors.

August 8th  —  Piedmont

Final stop: Piedmont — rolling hills, long dinners, ripe summer produce, and the home of Muscat Canelli, one of the most beautifully aromatic wines to come out of Northern Italy.

Saturday, August 8th, we’re ending the series with a menu full of peak summer flavors. It’s the kind of meal meant to be shared slowly, with a full table, another pour of wine, and nowhere else to be.
