Everything you need to know about getting Peltier wines from our cellar to your door,
aka the boring but important stuff.

General notes on shipping

• State law requires someone 21+ to sign for your wine at delivery — shipping to a business address is always a safe bet.
• Orders ship within 1–2 business days. We’ll give you a heads up by email if weather might affect things before we ship. See below for more on the weather.
• We can’t guarantee specific delivery dates or times — but if you reach out, we’ll do our best to make it happen!
• If a package is returned due to a missed delivery or incorrect address, additional shipping charges will apply to resend.

Weather or not your wine can ship

Wine is particular about temperature when traveling, it’s best between 50–68°F. So, we always keep an eye on your route and when temps creep above 80°F or drop below freezing, we’ll hold your shipment until conditions cooperate and keep you posted along the way so you know the wine will show up as good as the day it left our cellar.

When that happens, you’ve got a couple of options:

• Hold tight, on us — we’ll keep your wine safe in our temperature-controlled cellar until conditions improve, at no charge.
• Get it sooner — upgrade to temperature-protected or expedited shipping (additional fees apply). Just reach out and we’ll sort it out.

Where we ship & how long it takes

Here’s a general idea of how long your wine will be on its way — keep in mind these are estimates, not guarantees. Lots of things can affect delivery times (weather, holidays, carrier hiccups), but it will always be worth the wait.
