Named "Rouge" Rosé for its ruby hue, this fruit forward wine is truly for everyone. Those who consider themselves mostly red or white drinkers agree that this Rosé is exceptional and unexpected in the best way. The Cabernet for this wine is processed as a white fruit so it's pressed upon arrival and is fermented cold for two weeks. It's incredibly aromatic with notes of Strawberry and Watermelon and has a fuller mouthfeel with dry refreshing finish.

RED WINE FLIGHT

hint of jamminess | blackberry | white pepper balanced tannins

This Zinfandel is a perfect nod to Lodi's signature jammy style Zinfandel yet balanced with white pepper spice, making it a wonderful food wine. The first harvest of this Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard happened to also be the first harvest of winemaker, Susana "Susy" Rodriguez Vasquez with Peltier. Through experimentation and growth in congruence the vineyard, Susy challenges herself vintage after vintage to make a Cabernet better than the last.

50% of this Cab is aged in French barrels and the other half in stainless so as not to overwhelm with Oak but enhance the vineyards natural characteristics. Dark fruits like Blueberry and Plum are perfectly balanced by notes of caramel and a long finish.

Our style of winemaking is one that allows the personality of the fruit to guide the process. Because we're a farming family, growing quality grapes is one of our greatest passions and means our wines are truly unique expressions of the vineyards from which they're harvested. Zinfandel is a versitile variety that embodies the characteristics of not just a region but also the terroir specific to a vineyard. As the Zinfandel capital, Lodi produces many outstanding versions, all unique. Our Old Vine Zin comes from 65+ year old vines that are head trained and hand harvested, then housed in neutral Oak barrels for 12 months to enhance the natural characteristics without overwhelming them. This wine the perfect representation of what it means to showcase the fruit and vineyard personality so you'll know you're drinking Old Vine Zinfandel from Peltier.

blackberry | blueberry | fig | nutmeg | vanilla | dark brown sugar

Teroldego is a varietal with origins in Northern Italy and compared by many to a Syrah or California Zinfandel. Whether or not you've tasted the varietal before, this truly is a wine to experience for yourself as its a unique expression of the vineyard and region. Full of dark fruit, warm spice and vanilla that comes from 36 months spent in New French Oak Barrels, Schatz Family Reserve Teroldego has a round mouthfeel and lots of texture. We first planted this big, bold red in 2002, shortly after Peltier was built and it still grows beautifully today, just South of the winery.
