This Zinfandel is a perfect nod to Lodi’s signature jammy style balanced with white pepper spice, making it a wonderful food wine. Small batch fermentation and different yeasts were used to achieve the desired aromas. After fermentation, the wine went into oak for well integrated tannins and a smokey, chocolate nose.
